Board of Directors

PURPOSE:

This Committee/Board of Directors is established to oversee the operation, maintenance and activities of the facility known as The Showboat Community Theatre.

MISSION:

To promote and maintain an environment of the arts for the general welfare of all the people within the Hermann Area. To place emphasis on the performing arts as entertainment and to provide means whereby young people may be educated in the arts. To that end, a standing committee shall be appointed from within this Committee/Board of Directors for planning productions, recruiting directors and light and sound technicians.

AUTHORITY:

This Committee/Board of Directors is to be approved by the President and Secretary of Historic Hermann Incorporated and shall function as an adjunct to that organization with full governing rights pertaining to activities and operations of and within the facility known as The Showboat Community Theatre. The Committee/Board of Directors shall maintain communication with Historic Hermann Incorporated to assure compliance with that organization’s Rules, Regulations and By-Laws.
